NEW YORK. Golden State Warriors basketball players have successfully entered the semifinals of the NBA playoffs.
In the first final of the Western Conference, they defeated Dallas at home 112:87, Stephen Curry contributed 21 points.
The Warriors already laid the foundation for the victory in the first quarter, which they won by ten points.
After the third period, they already had 19 points to their name and started the final piece with an 8-0 streak, breaking the opponent’s opposition for good. In the last five minutes, the home side saved their support.

Curry also added 12 rebounds and four assists to 21 points, with Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins scoring 19 points each.
“We did what we had to do – we won the first game. But we still have a lot of work to do. We had a plan and we executed it. But it will take three more times the same effort to beat this opponent,” said Curry.
Dallas leader Luka Dončič scored 20 points.

The Mavericks had the worst shooting percentage of the playoffs so far, just 36 percent (31 of 86). “They did a great job, that’s the way it is. They defended perfectly,” Dončič evaluated the home team’s performance.
The second game of the series is scheduled again on Saturday evening in Golden State.
