You won’t believe what fell out of the player’s pocket! Absurd situation in overseas MLB

An absolutely unexpected situation occurred in the American MLB game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Pittsburgh Pirates – guest player Rodolfo Castro (23) lost his cell phone from his pocket

It happened after a shot from a teammate. As he tried to reach the finish line, Castro stretched and threw himself head forward. The fallen mobile phone did not go unnoticed by the referee. The curious incident was also watched by the visiting coach, who was not happy with what he had just seen. It was to him that Castro handed over the aforementioned cell phone.

“I don’t think there is a professional player who would ever have the urge to take a cell phone on the pitch. It’s terrible that it happened to me. Of course it wasn’t meant to be.” he assured the journalists present after the meeting

Home team skipper Derek Shelton took charge of the whole situation. “You watch the game and you see things you’ve never seen before. It’s just a kid who made a mistake. That’s one of those things you have to rise above and tell him, ‘You can’t do this to do.’ said Shelton.

It is not yet clear whether the league management will impose a penalty on Castro. “If I wanted to be the center of attention it would be a way to help the team, but certainly not in this way. It’s a mistake I want to learn from, but I certainly didn’t do it on purpose .” lamented the player whose team ended up losing 4:6.
